“Finally! A totally user-friendly exploration of improvisational theater is here TODAY. How to approach it, engage with it, and jump into it without a net. Mr. Capozzoli is one of the top living improv teachers and if you are not already bringing him to your improv community for workshops and coaching, then you can harness some of his astute, concise, and brilliant directions for the improviser. Kudos! Hurrah! Bravo, Mr. Capozzoli,” reads A.L. Booth’s review of the book on Amazon.

These are pretty strong words of praise for Mr. Capozzoli, a critically acclaimed actor, author, Improv authority, and director. Capozzoli’s wealth of experience and expertise runs deep when it comes to improvising. For more than a decade, he has been improvising at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater and what makes him such a kingpin in the field is that his methods have been adopted and are being taught all over the world. Christian Capozzoli has developed and directed an Amazon Prime comedy special. He has also taught as an Adjunct professor at Marymount Manhattan College.

Having been honored and recognized as one of the topmost improv minds and instructors in the world, Capozzoli has headlined over 70 improvisation festivals across North America and Europe. He also teaches improv to at-risk-youth throughout New York City, using his methods to empower individuals and celebrate ensemble. Christian has also conducted ideation and team building seminars for Carnegie Hall, Juilliard, and many corporations.

Christian Capozzoli’s book, ‘Aerodynamic of Yes: The Improviser’s manual’ has become a mainstay in theatre classes of Colleges worldwide. Published on Amazon, the 114-page book has got the masses helplessly hooked and in love with it.

“Have been in several classes now and the author is right – the teaching of improv is all over the place. This is a killer approach, written by a skilled performer who also knows pedagogy. Everyone trying to get better at improv, or even just understand comedy better, should read.” These are the salient words of Kate, one of the many buyers of Capozzoli’s book on Amazon who has got herself enthralled by it.

The book explores the Aerodynamics of Yes as an approach to celebrating one another, building an ensemble and getting out of our heads and into our scenes. Despite the waves it’s making around the world, ‘Aerodynamics of Yes’ is not the first book written by Capozzoli. He has written a number of films, television pilots, plays and many essays and short stories and he made his directorial debut with Amazon Prime special “Something From Nothing”.

Christian Capozzoli was born in Rochester, NY. and has attained a B.F.A in writing, literature, and publishing from Emerson College and Masters in Literature and Education from Harvard University. Christian has toured North America with his one man show Nutso Facto, which The NY Times states, “Mr. Capozzoli weaves a cast of eccentric characters to create a dizzyingly clever narrative.”

Having had the opportunity of working with top voices in TV Comedy including the likes of Adam Sandler, Stephen Colbert, Lena Dunham, Robert Smigel, and David Gordon Green just to mention a few; Capozzoli is no rookie in the show business. In fact, he has appeared in Comedy Central’s“COLBERT REPORT”, Amazon’s “RED OAKS”, and HBO’s “GIRLS” and he made his feature film debut playing Adam Sandler’s brother in “THE WEEK OF”. Christian’s short films have been selected by Toronto International Film Festival and Stanley Festival.

“Christian is a wonderful performer and teacher. This book feels more immediate, essential, and inspiring than any of the usual titles (Truth in Comedy, Improvise, etc.). Get it,” says Roberti, another reader who couldn’t help but lavish praises on Capozzoli and his spectacular book.
