The lyrics offer a question, “Can you take a minute, out your day for me? Cause I’ve been praying for you, can you stop and pray for me?” Mae believes, “When you pray for someone, God opens up your heart to love them.”

With humble beginnings, Mae Love started singing and dancing as a form of expression through many of life’s most difficult experiences. She had a passion for music and her pears spent countless hours free styling and of course, Mae never turned down the opportunity when they passed her the mic. Eventually she was featured on Underground Hip Hop Radio Stations in the early 90’s and was presented with professional opportunities opening for many iconic acts.
After having a real “COME TO JESUS” moment and starting a family, Mae recognized her responsibility to give her children a better life. She eventually switched directions and began singing in a Gospel Choir with one of the biggest icons of all time. As a single mother and a community activist, she was determined to BE THE CHANGE she would like to see in the world and with a strong desire to pave a way for her children, she would dedicate over 10 years of her life to serving in the community.
Mae Love also served as a Gospel Choir Director for 8 years. The mission of the choir was to offer a community fellowship and spread the Gospel throughout the world using traditional and original Gospel music, soulful worship and praise. One of her greatest memories with the choir was serving in the prison ministry.
Mae is now in a position where she will use her combined talents, real life experience and passion for people to serve the community as an Urban Gospel Artist, with a desire to “Spread Love – From The Street To Heaven”.
