A visionary Swiss startup, Fankisocks, has recently launched a Kickstarter campaign to support its next-generation socks that will redefine the way we look and wear socks and for better. The company has designed the world’s most trendy socks that stand for self-expression and also assure the most comfortable feel ever.
The campaign is geared to raise CHF 27000 ($27,230).
Socks are an indispensable part of our daily wear, and we spend 70% of our lives with our feet covered. Compatible socks are thus a must for our comfort. These exotic designer socks also stand for far superior comfort and quality compared to regular socks. Unlike the existing counterparts that mostly count on 80% or more regular cotton, the Fankisocks socks are manufactured with 75% combed cotton, 22% polyester, and 3% elastane, for added comfort.
“Yes combed cotton is little more expensive than regular cotton but wins over with its premium luxury feel that you won’t find with regular counterparts. It’s a softer yet stronger option and doesn’t carry any impurities or short protruding heads.”
Mr. Fankhauser outlined the benefits of combed cotton:
- High moisture absorption
- Comfortable and very soft on the skin
- Low heat insulation
“We reduced the cotton a bit and added more polyester to give our socks a longer life. Polyester carries excellent insulation properties which make our socks comfy wear in both summer and winter.”
