On 26th October local time, Global Sichuan Gourmet Tour, organized by Sichuan Provincial Tourism Development Committee and co-organized by Chengdu Culture and Tourism Group, landed in Prague, the center of Continental Europe. In Bashu, the famous Sichuan local restaurant, the campaign offered a widely-praised banquet of “color, aroma and taste” for local people.
Mr. DENG Xiaogang, vice secretary of Sichuan Provincial Party Committee, Madam WU Guang, cultural counsellor of Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the Czech Republic and Simulnek, deputy leader of Communist Party of Bohemia and Moravia have attended the meeting. Representatives from both parties had in-depth communication and exchange regarding Sichuan in-bound tourism market and gives expectations to future bi-lateral tourism development between Sichuan and Czech.
At the venue, Mr. SONG Ming, vice director of Sichuan Provincial Tourism Development Committee, awarded plate to Bashu Restaurant. On-site Sichuan food cooking and ethnic color-painting attracted a great number of Czech citizens for future Sichuan travelling.
This campaign was held successfully and enhanced the tourism cooperation between Sichuan and Czech, understanding of Sichuan tourism among Czech public, and awareness of Sichuan in Prague, offering new opportunities for Sichuan in-bound tourism market development.
