Margaret Marsh is a licensed and nationally board certified to practice acupuncture and Chinese. herbal medicine. While Margaret has extensive clinical experience to successfully treat a wide range of conditions, she also specializes in the treatment of all types of musculoskeletal pain and orthopaedic disorders, and in addition, having advanced training in women’s health and fertility.
She also has a track record of success in the treatment of hypertension, digestive disorders, allergies, insomnia, migraines, and stress. Although Margaret’s studies began with Western medicine, extensive travel and study in China and Taiwan sparked her interest in Eastern medicine. She practices with a multidisciplinary approach.
While always emphasizing health and well-being, she uses a combination of acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine along with moxibustion, cupping, and gua sha. Complementary to her practice of traditional Chinese style acupuncture, she practices trigger point therapy, neuromuscular motor point therapy, and electro-acupuncture (known to some as “dry needling”).
She also had great success with facial rejuvenation and pediatric disorders using micro-current and light therapy. With this multidisciplinary approach, patients see optimal results. Margaret holds a Master of Science degree from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (NY, NY) and graduated from Dartmouth College in 1987.
