On May 18th, the launch ceremony of Waltonchain’s first global smart retail application child chain DMTC was successfully held in Hilton Shenzhen Shekou, with experts from agriculture, Smart Retail and Blockchain industries baring witness. A bright future is waiting.
DMTC, the global eco-agriculture application chain, is the first global smart retail application child chain from Waltonchain. It is named after the agricultural goddess Demeter who gives hope to the survival and development of the earth. DMTC will combine “Smart agriculture + intelligence Micro-Super + Smart Retail”, IoT and blockchain to help the development of organic agriculture.

The COO of DMTC Project, Lin Dayan introduced DMTC’s agricultural traceability ecosystem layout to the guests and announced DMTC’s five systems, including DMTC ecological base sensing system, DMTC supply chain data system, DMTC RFID chip traceability system, DMTC terminal intelligent retail system and DMTC consumption mining incentive system. He said that DMTC will rely on Waltonchain RFID chips and blockchain technology to solve the traceability of agricultural products and organic foods and create a safe and reliable big data information channel.
