Fort Lauderdale, FL – July 28, 2020 – What happens when a girl of mixed heritage gets the chance to travel the world from a young age and experience life from different perspectives and cultures? For Nathalie Nesh, a Swedish-Peruvian singer-songwriter, artistic mentor and vocal coach, it led to her knowing that her life’s purpose was to help individuals experience a message of positivity. Her new release, Fuel, which is a collaborative effort between Nesh and Ramale Archibald aka King Male, is the culmination of her goal to uplift society and communities with her message of self-love, acceptance and positivity.

Fuel is an upbeat, modern track with pop and rock style musical accompaniment. The single was launched on July 24, 2020. The song has one clear focus and is summarized in the chorus “when the voices in your head keep getting louder, write a melody instead. Listen to your inner strength.” It’s a message and a philosophy Nathalie developed as a young child and one that has stayed with her throughout her life.

When Nathalie was young, she would travel with her family to Peru every year for Christmas. There, she got the opportunity to join her uncle, musician Marco Bretoneche, and perform for families living in very poor communities, as well as children in orphanages. These experiences deeply impacted her from the start and gave her a deeper perspective of different issues and the hardships that exist in the world in which we live. Later in life, Nathalie had the opportunity to work in the United States with children with disabilities including autism and down syndrome. It opened up her heart and broadened her understanding even more.

“Everybody deserves and wants to be treated equally,” explains Nathalie. “It’s why this song isn’t geared at any one person or group, but an overall message to stay positive, to ignore the bullies, and to fight for justice and equality for everyone in our community, regardless of their health, color, sexual orientation or financial status. The song is a mental health call-to-arms to insist that people understand and admire true beauty. Beauty is everywhere and in everyone, and it’s our responsibility to uplift others, to release them from their feelings of unworthiness. It’s a message that I knew I needed to carry beyond the song and it’s what has led me to develop Use it as Fuel, a non-profit dedicated to supporting diverse community projects, promoting education on mindfulness, and encouraging creativity and self-development.”

Fuel is available from Spotify, iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, YouTube Music, TikTok, Deezer, Pandora, ClaroMusica, Saavn, TIDAL, iHeartRadio, Napster, Anghami, KKBox, TouchTunes, NetEase and many smaller outlets through MediaNet.
