Maropost is ecstatic to announce the launch of Maropost Ventures, an early-to-growth venture fund. It aims to provide support for businesses all over the world by helping its founders align with their principles and mission — all while bringing value via added capital, experience, talent management, guidance, and so on.
The CEO of Maropost, Ross Andrew Paquette, founded Maropost Ventures and will be acting as its Managing Director onward. The firm will also be led by Maropost’s Director of Finance Gagan Sandhu and CTO Jagdeep Singh.
It should be noted that, soon after the announcement of its much-anticipated launch, Maropost Ventures proactively began to fill out its portfolio with successive investments in four diverse companies.
The firm targeted a spectrum of established industries and early-to-growth companies all over the world — including Lyre’s Spirit Co, based in London, UK; Pressa, based in Sveavägen, Stockholm; Compono, based in Brisbane, Australia; and SpaceX, based in Hawthorne, USA.
The first of Maropost Ventures’ investments went to consumer brand, Lyre’s Sprit Co — which, after its founding only a year ago, has already taken an industry leadership position, and has even been lauded as having the world’s most awarded non-alcoholic spirits.
