Inspired by a transformative psychedelic experience, Mindleap is a telehealth application that allows you to manage your mental health in new ways. Foremost, Mindleap is currently the only telehealth platform that allows users to book appointments with psychedelic integration specialists, who can help you integrate the power of a psychedelic experience into your everyday life.
Psychedelics such as MDMA, ketamine, and psilocybin are being used in therapeutic contexts – this has been largely due to the growing body of clinical research demonstrating the high effectiveness these drugs have when used in conjunction with traditional therapy. However psychedelic experiences are often described as “dream-like” and overwhelming, and many clinical professionals say that “the work” of integration is the most important part of taking psychedelics.
While psychedelics are currently illegal in many places, talking about your psychedelic experiences with a professional is not. Mindleap does not facilitate or actively encourage illegal activity, but says that users can obtain professional psychedelic “aftercare” on their iOS and Android app.
The platform, which launched on September 30th, has over 30 mental health specialists, who the company says are carefully vetted, many of them with masters or doctorate degrees. Before booking appointments users can browse any specialist’s profile and see their qualifications, years of experience, and personal bio.
While the company launched with psychedelics as a primary focus, Mindleap allows users to book appointments with other types of specialists as well, including addiction and holistic wellness. On the app, you can filter by specialist type to easily find the professional you are looking for.
One of the unique features of Mindleap is the ability to track your mental health and share your data with a mental health specialist during a video call. This gives users and the specialists they work with a better understanding of their mental health by creating a more data-driven conversation.
Moving forward Mindleap plans to expand its services by adding new types of mental health specialists, better mental health analytics, and digital transformation programs that are self-paced and more affordable that one one one coaching.
