Symend Appoints PehKeong Teh As Chief Product Officer

Former Senior Vice-President, Marketing Cloud at Salesforce will lead the evolution of Symend’s product portfolio

Symend, an outsourced managed service that uses state-of-the-art behavioral science and technology to engage at-risk customers through empathy, announced that PehKeong Teh has been appointed Chief Product Officer.

Teh, a product leader with over 14 years of experience working for global cloud companies like Microsoft, Salesforce and Oracle, began his software career participating in the early cloud evolution and has since delivered software products and services to billions of customers.

Teh’s bold approach to tackling the complexities behind highly reliable, large-scale enterprise platforms will be a huge asset to Symend as the company enters its next iteration of product development. He will focus on building capacity to continue delivering a best-in-class product that drives customer engagement and retention for enterprise clients on a global scale.

Most recently, Teh was the head of product for Salesforce’s fastest growing cloud businesses delivering marketing automation and customer engagement software services. Previously, Teh worked on different products at Microsoft ranging from the Windows Operating System, to Windows Azure and subsequently to building the cloud scale Azure SQL DB. He later moved on to help build the next generation Oracle Public Cloud from the ground up.
