Dr. Jacob Engelskirger is the founder of his own executive coaching, growth & performance coaching, and psychotherapy practice and regularly engages with diverse individuals, companies, and organizations from his Alameda-based office. Dr. Jacob is a California Licensed Clinical Psychologist (PSY31090) who has been engaged with the clinical mental health field as a humanistically-oriented clinical and applied researcher, instructor and professor at the graduate and undergraduate levels, and is a published author of the “Humanistic Theories of Personality” chapter of The Sage Encyclopedia of Theory in Psychology (2016) among many other authorships.

Dr. Jacob Engelskirger is a lifetime California resident and currently lives in Alameda with his wife, son, and loyal dog. He surfs and skateboards regularly. Dr. Jacob presented his research and clinical work at the national and international levels. He is an Eagle Scout, National Champion model airplane builder/flyer, and holds the record for the highest score ever on the comprehensive examination in his doctoral program.
