Ceramiche Refin references the Mediterranean design in Riflessi tiles 1

Dezeen promotion: the bright colors and “brushstroke” function in the ceramic tiles series of the Italian brand Ceramiche Refin. Riflessi is a series of large-format tiles for walls and floors, borrowing from Mediterranean palettes, patterns and craftsmanship. The tiles have complementary colors of green, blue, orange, white and gray with streak variations to make it look like the colors applied by a paintbrush. The collection includes geometric designs inspired by traditional tiles from the Mediterranean region. There is also a mosaic that can be used to create irregular effects.

Ceramiche Refin said: “Riflessi is the result of a research project inspired by the Mediterranean region, their atmosphere and traditions and coastal panoramas, where the colors of the sun and the sea are combined with the colors of the vegetation and land.” “Through Riflessi, natural elements enter and design the indoor scene, but the sensory method of transforming light into matter is adopted.”

Color tiles are available in two different sizes – 75 x 150 cm or 75 x 75 cm – so customers can choose between rectangular or square. The five designs are named with the Italian words for each color: Arancio, Blu, Verde, Grigio and Bianco. The most decorative tile in this series is Amalfi, a square design that combines various colors and patterns. Amalfi tiles are named after a beautiful town on the southwest coast of Italy and feature pictures of petals, leaves, ribbons and architectural elements. At the same time, Fiore tiles have curved patterns that can be placed in repetitive designs or used in combination to create large flower patterns. “Riflessi allows you to softly mention Mediterranean traditions in more or less bright tones according to the environment and decoration style,” Ceramiche Refin added.
