“We have always embraced a flexible, hybrid work model, because we recognize that members of our growing team thrive in a variety of situations, ranging from working remote full-time, to heading into the office every workday”

Just over a year after its acquisition by Redbrick, a Canadian portfolio of digital businesses, the move is both a symbol of Leadpages’ success and a signal that downtown Minneapolis and, in particular, its burgeoning technology sector are on the rebound from an unexpectedly challenging time.

“As the risks the pandemic presented slowly dissipate in the US and city centres surge back to life, the single-purpose business neighborhood no longer makes sense, however that does not mean the end of downtown,” said Leadpages CEO Jeanette Dorazio. “This is an opportunity for the city to come together with the thriving business community in Minneapolis and rethink and rebuild a space that serves people better for both work and life. We are very excited to play an active role in the resurgence of the downtown core and, with Colonial, we are providing our team with an incredible place to work, as well as work-from-home flexibility.”

Built in 1885, the five-story, 203,000-square-foot Colonial Warehouse is included on the National Register of Historic Places. “Colonial Warehouse is the perfect example of where tenants want to be today as they return to the office – a character-filled, urban neighborhood with an active and engaged local community, and is close to housing, recreation, and outdoor dining,” said Katie Tufford, Broker, Cushman Wakefield. “Leadpages HQ location bolsters the North Loop trending as a the top choice micro-market in the Twin Cities for tech and creative firms.”

The space Leadpages will occupy in the Colonial Warehouse will be large enough to accommodate the full team when needed, however full-time, in-office work will not be required of employees. “We have always embraced a flexible, hybrid work model, because we recognize that members of our growing team thrive in a variety of situations, ranging from working remote full-time, to heading into the office every workday,” Dorazio said. “In addition, we’ve embraced no-meeting Thursdays, one day a week when the team is encouraged to block out their calendars for heads-down, deep-think work.”

Despite the challenges presented by the pandemic, Leadpages has added headcount and since the end of April 2020, saw a net growth in customers of about 4 percent.
