Creative Bioarray Develops State-of-the-art Chromosome Analysis to Support the Research of Molecular Biology and Histopathology

Creative Bioarray has extensive expertise in banded chromosome analysis which include the analysis of live animals and established adult and embryonic stem cell lines to support the research of molecular biology and histopathology.

New York, USA – June 16, 2021 – Creative Bioarray, the innovative biotechnology company focuses on developing unique technologies with high quality products and satisfactory services to accelerate life sciences research, solve complex analytical challenges and increase laboratory productivity. Creative Bioarray has extensive expertise in banded chromosome analysis which includes the analysis of live animals and established adult and embryonic stem cell lines to support the research of molecular biology and histopathology.

The purpose of molecular pathology is to elucidate the mechanism of disease by identifying changes in molecules and pathways. The core of this still developing discipline is the application of classic and new technologies developed in cell biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, proteomics, and genetics to the evaluation of pathological processes. In drug discovery and preclinical safety assessment, changes in cell morphology are often accompanied by changes in DNA, RNA or protein molecules. Further understanding of these molecular changes will help to understand target distribution, pharmacodynamics, and elucidate pharmacological and/or toxicological mechanisms.

In addition, there is an increasing demand for information on tumor subtypes, prognosis, treatment response, and molecular therapy targets. These needs are increasingly being covered by molecular pathology and require more extensive methods. Many of these molecular pathology methods rely on the use of labeled antibodies and nucleic acid probes, whether based on slides or liquids. These methods include polymerase chain reaction (PCR), DNA and RNA sequencing, fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH), and gene array analysis.

Among them, chromosome analysis is a test that evaluates the size, shape, and number of chromosomes. Extra or missing chromosomes, or abnormal positions of chromosome segments, can cause problems in growth, development, and body function. Chromosome analysis is usually a useful test to determine the contribution of genetics to a range of medical and/or developmental problems. In addition, stem cells in culture can accumulate changes, including chromosomal abnormalities. Genomic changes can lead to changes in gene expression and cell function, increasing the risk of stem cell tumors. Therefore, it is essential to monitor any chromosomal abnormalities in cultures, especially in stem cells for therapeutic purposes.

Creative Bioarray provides the most advanced molecular pathology services on multiple high-throughput testing platforms, including the preparation of DNA, RNA and protein from a large number of samples for molecular detection, massively parallel sequencing, Sanger sequencing, gene expression analysis and quantification Polymerase chain reaction.

“Our team combines the long history of molecular biology and histopathology, linking gene expression with tissue morphology in normal tissues and therapeutic disease models to provide you with valuable functional genomics information.” said Hannah Cole, the marketing director of Creative Bioarray, she also claimed, “In addition, our professionals are proficient in histopathology and immunocytochemistry methods, provide a full range of services in sample preparation, imaging and image analysis, and provide consulting for ongoing or future research projects.”
