The Boil Lobster, a cloud kitchen known for serving a vast array of dishes prepared with fresh Lobster sourced from Maine, makes waves in the cloud kitchen space with a unique concept and menu. The kitchen will go live in 40 days; however, invited bloggers will experience the Boil Lobster in two weeks’ time as part of the launch.
Roy Yu, the founder of The Boil Lobster, is the first American-Chinese to get into the Cloud Kitchen space, explicitly serving lobster dishes such as Lobster roll, Lobster salad, Lobster Fettuccine, party size Cajun Lobster boil. The cloud-kitchen concept has become significantly popular, where food is prepared in a purpose-built facility to deliver or take out.
“We want to provide our friends and customers with fresh and simple food,” said Roy Yu, who has worked for ten years in the restaurant business and holds a Master’s in Computer Science. “Cloud kitchens are really tech-enabled. Given the reach the new food delivery applications such as Uber Eats, DoorDash, and GrubHub offer, it has made the whole concept of a cloud kitchen more viable,” he added.
Roy’s objective is to provide the best possible customer experience and eventually take The Boil Lobster across the country. Harnessing the power of technology, the cloud kitchen will work with iCook to consolidate all the orders and operate the business with transparency.
In addition to ordering delicious food from the kitchen, customers can also order DIY kits that they can use to prepare food using Boil Lobster’s recipes. “This is truly unique in the cloud kitchen space, the ability to order DIY kits. We want to provide our customers with healthy and tasty food options which they can prepare in the comfort of their home,” Roy further added.
Some of the values that drive The Boil Lobster’s team are a customer-first approach, teamwork, flavor, care, and craft. “We are really excited and looking forward to offering a unique experience to seafood enthusiasts,” Roy noted.
