Los Angeles, CA – The BookFest Adventure™ official dates for the fall livestream event are announced. Readers and writers can attend for free October 22nd and 23rd, 2022. The BookFest Awards™ also return to honor outstanding books and authors who demonstrate excellence in the literary arts.

Submissions for The BookFest Awards Fall 2022 may be entered on The BookFest Adventure website. More information is also found there, including a complete list of eligible genres and categories.
Books are judged using an array of criteria to evaluate story, message, genre, theme, and aesthetics. Awards are bestowed based on genre and subgenre, as well as other categories such as best cover art and best website. There are four levels of awards including first place, second place, third place and honorable mention.
Books submitted for consideration to The BookFest Awards are evaluated with a three-round judging system: first by an expert vetting team to ensure submitted work meets necessary criteria, then by The BookFest associate judging committee, and then final determinations are made by the executive BookFest Awards judging committee.
Winners of The BookFest Awards will be announced during The BookFest Adventure livestream event. Awards are given in book genres as well as other categories such as best cover art and best website. There are four levels of awards in each subcategory.

Third place book award winners will receive: everything above plus be mentioned in a special article about The BookFest Award winners.
Second place book award winners will receive: everything above plus be linked to in The BookFest newsletter with 20,000+ subscribers.
First place book award winners will receive: everything above plus be linked to in the Official Winners Press Release sent to our media list of 3,000+ and online wire distribution to 300+ news/ media sites. First place winners will also be featured in social media posts on The BookFest social media platforms.
Select First place winners will be evaluated and may be invited to be a guest on the award-winning Books That Make You show. Three to six winners are anticipated to receive this special invitation.
