Fire Watch Services in Boca Raton – USPA Nationwide Security has deployed Palm Beach Fire Guards ahead of Tropical Storm Nicole in Southern Florida.
Anticipating a demand for Emergency Fire Watch Services in Boca Raton and surrounding areas, USPA Nationwide Security stands ready to serve the community when Subtropical Storm Nicole makes landfall in South Florida.

BOCA RATON, FL – The Florida Division of Emergency Management (FDEM) is closely monitoring Subtropical Storm Nicole’s development and track. In addition to maintaining constant contact with the National Hurricane Center, the National Weather Service, as well as county emergency management officials in all 67 counties, FDEM Director Kevin Guthrie stays in close contact with the National Hurricane Center. As a result, the state will be able to identify potential resource gaps and implement plans that will enable it to respond quickly and efficiently to any impacts caused by Subtropical Storm Nicole as soon as possible.

USPA Nationwide Security, a Miami-based security company and fire watch service, has therefore deployed their complement of security officers, currently stationed in Miami and Broward Counties for the election, in case Subtropical Storm Nicole leaves a mark further north.

In order to prepare for Subtropical Storm Nicole, Governor DeSantis issued Executive Order (EO) 22-253.

At this time, Subtropical Storm Nicole is located near the Bahamas and is moving northwest at a speed of eight miles per hour. In the current forecast, Nicole is expected to approach the east coast of Florida by Wednesday night and could have the strength of a hurricane. The Florida Department of Environmental Protection advises residents to prepare for an increased risk of flooding along the coast, heavy winds, rain, rip currents, and erosion of beaches. It is possible for Florida’s east coast to experience wind gusts as early as Tuesday. USPA stands ready to provide emergency fire watch services in Palm Beach County (Boca Raton) at a moment’s notice.

The counties of Brevard, Broward, Indian River, Martin, Palm Beach and St. Lucie are under a Hurricane Watch. USPA has fire watch guards in Boca Raton, standing by, awaiting assignments from Broward to Palm Beach Counties, as well as their west coast fire guards on call in the Tampa area through Orlando.

According to previous reports, USPA personnel are stationed in Fort Myers, more than a month after Hurricane Ian devastated the area. This Florida-based security firm has played an active role in the recovery efforts to restore normalcy to the western part of the state.

During Hurricane Ian and immediately following the storm, USPA dispatched teams of rescue personnel to assist trapped residents. If the need arises this week, they are prepared to perform similar rescues.
